The Gatch Works Design & Build Process
Our streamlined process keeps things running smoothly, so you always know what’s happening and what’s next — no surprises, just clear communication and a seamless new home build.
1. Discovery & Brief
We take the time to understand your lifestyle, goals, site, and budget — not just what you want to build, but why. This is where we get to know you, your lifestyle, your budget, and what you’re really looking for in a home. We’ll walk you through the process, answer all your questions, and make sure you feel confident from day one.
2. Concept Design & Cost Alignment
We develop concept designs alongside realistic pricing guidance, so decisions are informed early and expectations are clear. We’ll work closely with you to develop a custom design that ticks all the boxes — from layout and features to functionality and flow. Need help with consents or council requirements? We’ve got that covered too.
3. Detailed Design & Approvals
Once aligned, we move into detailed plans, specifications, and required approvals — all managed in-house.
4. Build Phase
Time to open the door and step into your brand-new home. We’ll walk you through everything, take care of the finishing touches, and make sure you’re 100% happy. Then it’s over to you — time to pop the bubbles and enjoy your new space.
5. Handover & Ongoing Support
We don’t just hand over the keys — we ensure everything is finished properly and you’re supported right through to completion.
